Law Abiding Citizen

Such a powerful issue to make a movie about. The failure of a new lawyer's morale responsibility within the strongest judicial system in the world. This thriller, Law Abiding Citizen really brings home the breakdown of what can happen when one man tries to make it to the top forgetting about the victims of heinous crimes. Cutting deals with criminals seems to be in the forefront of culture today.

Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butlers) is an electrical engineer who concocts a masterful plan avenging the murders of his wife and daughter. When two scumbag ruthless thieves break into his house break wielding a baseball bat. With a knife thrust into his back Clyde survives only to watch in horror as his wife is raped and murdered as well as his 5 year old daughter. Needless to say he's pissed! With all the guts and glory you would ever want to witness Clyde is going to get revenge while teaching a little lesson.

Nick rice (Jamie Foxx) is an up and coming lawyer flushing his morale fortitude down the drain to get ahead. He watches in utter disbelief as those around him are taken down like flies.

This flick is powerful in it's surprising girth of blood and guts. However, it holds a very unique insight. At the very least you have to think of how a judicial system which is supposed to seek justice, gets so far off track?
